Preschool Curriculum 

The staff of St Joseph's Early Childhod Program provides high quality, developmentally approriate preschool curriculum and theme-based activities within a safe, positive, nurturing , creative enviroment that enhances the learning process. We aim for comprehensive approach in teaching: literacy, math,science, social studies,creative arts, religion, and the social and emotional development of each child.

To ensure we are meeting the needs of all our students, we offer a mix of individualized, small, and whole class lessons, which encourage individualized development and varied social skills. Our staff creates lessons that offer a balance of teacher-directed activites and child-initiated play. The overall goal of our Early Childhood Program is to create opportunities and strategies to encourage learning and to help each child develop a sense of pride in thier accomplishments and relationships with peers as they prepare for kindergarden.

Eye Q Phonics Program

This program was developed to:

• First: Build a foundation of letters and sounds
• Second: Get our Pre-school readers to blend sounds and make words!
• Third: To use both principles to start reading books… after learning only 8 letters!
